I was recently accepted as a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and I am a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. I speak nationally and enjoy teaching about movement, facilitation of joint movement and treating pain. I attended Bowdoin College in Maine for my undergraduate degree in Biology and Visual Arts. I love to run, rollerblade, ski (water, cross country and downhill), swim and hike. I grew up in Mahtomedi, graduating from the high school in 1999. I see people of all ages and abilities at Fix It physical therapy. I specialize in manual therapy to efficiently and effectively decrease the mechanical dysfunction and the related pain and spasm. In a nutshell, I work at the joint level, head to toe, in the gentle and resting position to fix pain and/or movement. I then address trunk control and power to increase the overall control of movement which decreases the mechanical vulnerability. Feel free to visit me anytime if I can be of any help to decrease pain and/or to increase movement and control.
