“I absolutely loved my experience at Fixit PT. Beautiful location. The office was nicely done. Inviting yet professional. The staff is friendly. The staff listens intently to what your needs are and best yet! they deliver on fixing it. My hip has ached for years and within minutes the pain was subsiding and my range of motion was miraculously restored. I am completely sold on this technique. Other PT, chiropractic services helped, but this is actually fixing the problem. I am very grateful to have been lead to this group. I will continue to use their services.”
We don't rely on passive, one-size-fits-all treatments. Every tool in our clinic is deliberately chosen to target a specific stage of your recovery—resetting restricted tissue, restoring proper joint mechanics, and locking in long-term strength.
1. Joint Facilitation & Mobilization
Restoring Natural Motion
When joints become restricted or misaligned, your body compensates by creating muscle tension and altered movement patterns. Through skilled, hands-on joint facilitation, we gently restore optimal glide and range of motion to stiff or restricted joints.
Why it matters: Restoring natural joint mechanics reduces localized pressure, relieves pain immediately, and re-establishes the structural foundation your body needs to move freely.
2. Trigger Point Dry Needling
Resetting Overactive Tissue & Nerves
Dry needling is a highly effective, targeted technique that uses micro-thin, solid needles to reach deep muscular trigger points ("knots") and irritated nervous tissue that manual therapy alone can't reach.
Why it matters: By eliciting a brief twitch response in tight muscle fibers, dry needling instantly releases deep tension, resets overactive pain pathways, increases local blood flow, and accelerates natural tissue healing.
3. Targeted Exercise & Neuromuscular Re-Education
Building Power & Motor Control
Pain and injury disrupt how your brain communicates with your muscles, leading to poor motor control (coordination) and loss of power. Once we've freed up joint motion and released tissue tension, we use progressive, functional movement exercises to retrain your neuromuscular system.
Why it matters:
Motor Control: Teaches your brain to recruit the right muscles at the right time, preventing future compensations.
Power & Strength: Rebuilds your capacity to load joints safely, whether you're lifting a child, swinging a club, or powering through your workday.
FAQs
What should I expect from my first visit?
1
Your initial evaluation begins with a comprehensive movement and physical assessment, a review of your medical history, and a discussion of your personal goals. We will perform targeted movement tests, diagnose the root cause of your discomfort, and create a customized treatment plan. In most cases, you will also receive your first treatment and a personalized home exercise routine on day one.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
2
In many cases, no! Under Direct Access laws, you can schedule an appointment directly with a physical therapist without a physician's referral or prescription. However, some specific insurance plans may still require a referral for coverage—our administrative team can help verify your plan's requirements before your first visit.
What makes you different?
3
Most traditional therapy focuses only on where it hurts—ice the knee, stretch the hamstring, massage the lower back. But pain is often just the warning light on your dashboard; it isn't the root engine problem.
Our F.A.S.T. Approach looks at your whole body as an interconnected movement system. By fixing how you move across the entire chain, we don't just calm down your symptoms—we prevent them from returning.
How can I contact you?
4
You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.
OUR MISSION
By uniting root-cause movement analysis, specialized hands-on care, and progressive strength training, we deliver individualized care for your entire family—from supporting a baby’s first milestones and guiding mothers through postpartum recovery, to helping athletes maximize performance and adults build strong bones for lifelong independence. We don't just treat where it hurts; we empower your body to move, heal, and excel for the long haul.
INVEST IN YOURSELF
You only get one body to carry you through a lifetime of work, family, and adventure.
Choosing to invest in your physical health is the highest form of self-care. Restoring your movement system gives you the resilience to show up fully for the people who rely on you, excel in the activities you love, and age with strength rather than limitation. You are worth the commitment.
