THE GOAL OF THE FAST APPROACH TM
(FACILITATION, ACTIVATION, SYSTEMATIC THERAPY)
The goal of the F.A.S.T Approach to Physical Therapy is to re-establish normal stresses at the joint level, returning surrounding tissue tension and length to normal. This restores normal function to the body part and allows for an increase in overall activity level and play for all ages and abilities.
We have an extensive understanding of Neuromechanics. Neuromechanics is the relationship between neural circuits and biomechanics and seeks to understand how muscles, sense organs, motor pattern generators, and the brain interact to produce coordinated movement. Facilitation of joint movement, movement control, balance and power are the formula to comprehensively address the whole movement system to allow you to get back to your favorite activities. All of our physical therapists go through a rigorous Apprenticeship Program to learn the FAST Approach TM.
